Michelle Meech
Michelle attended her first yoga class at 18 years. Since then yoga has brought all its wonderful benefits but it’s most noticeable when she finds herself challenged.Â
It wasn’t until Michelle became a mother and experienced extreme burnout that she went on train as a yoga teacher. Experiencing the effects of burnout from working and running a household she innately yearned for something deeper.Â
As her worldview changed and her relationship with herself deepened, life changed for the better. Previous to becoming a yoga teacher, Michelle was a childhood educator and managed a Steiner Inspired Centre. After feeling there were many things missing from the childcare space, including deeper connection, her passion shifted to bring the modalities of yoga to our younger generations.Â
Michelle has completed many training's for children, including yoga trainings, Ayurveda and coaching to help understand people and the world from a deeper perspective. She has also studied the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). She is currently studying Yoga Therapy.Â
Through developing and delivering yoga and mindful programs in Early Learning centres, schools, her weekly community kids classes, and working with the NDIS, she has many levels of experience and works with a wide demographic of people and children. Michelle is well known as a deeply nurturing teacher who is effectively helping our children to grow and thrive.
